Holiday

    It was a holiday

    The sky was full of kites

    Kites of all shapes and sizes

    Were flying high in the sky

    Touching the clouds as they went by

    The children shouted on the roof

     And ran on the ground

    As the kites came hurling to the ground

The street

At night I look out of my window

To see the street below

There is quiet only the barking of the dog breaks the silence

Come morning there is a great hustle and bustle

As vendors are standing to sell their wares

They have Grapes and bananas

 Red apples in plenty

Fresh green vegetables

Of all kinds are there.

The street is full of activity

 Through out the day

When night comes

Every thing is quiet once again

Every morning

Every morning I love to go to the beach

And play on the sandy shore

With the tiny waves

As they touch me and run

I look at the sea

I see a big one rushing towards me

 I quickly get out of its way

Every morning I and the waves have a great time

Friends

We all need friends

For friends come to help

When there is trouble

In our life

But all friends are not good and kind

They make fun of you and leave you

When you need them the most

So select your friends

With utmost care

The Farmer

Every morning before the sun rises
The farmer gets ready to go for work
His fields are a bit far away
He has to walk a long way
There is a spring in his step
A smile on his lips
The black clods in the sky
Are ready to drip

My Lemon tree

Have you seen a lemon tree
Has green leaves but full of thorns
It flowers after five years
The honey bee comes to suckle the dew
The flowers have come and gone
Hope the lemon will come soon
